Lightning strikes twice for Keoghs Legal Executive at Manchester Legal Awards

Keoghs Legal Executive, Rachel Stevens, is celebrating after winning the coveted ‘Legal Executive of the Year’ award at last week’s prestigious Manchester Legal Awards.

The prize encompasses a range of criteria and is earned for excellence in commercial awareness plus a high level of client relationship skills, with Rachel impressing the judges through her understanding of the recent changes in the market.

Incredibly, this is the second time the Chartered Legal Executive has scooped the award in the last three years and, with Rachel now working for Keoghs’ market leading counter-fraud team, the firm is delighted to have the award winner on board.

Keoghs Director of Counter-Fraud Services, James Heath, stated:

The award also recognised Rachel’s efforts to raise the profile of Chartered Legal Executives in the local area as Chair of the Greater Manchester CILEx branch. Through this role she sits on the Manchester Law Society Council and is a trustee for the North West Legal Support Trust (NWLST).

After receiving her prize, Rachel said:

“It is a great honour to win such a prestigious award for the second time. Further to my work as a Legal Executive with Keoghs, I have spent the last three years with CILEx helping other Legal Executives in the Greater Manchester area. I hope to carry on this work whilst also continuing my professional growth with Keoghs.”

Rachel’s success is the second time Keoghs has celebrated since the turn of the year, having scooped three prizes at the LV= Awards in February.
