Calum is a specialist in defending liability claims and has represented a variety of large insurers, self-insured companies, local and central government bodies in that capacity in a career spanning over 10 years.
He has acted for clients in a diverse range of disputes since qualifying in 2005. Calum specialises in defending personal injury claims and has extensive experience of handling motor and workplace accidents.
Calum is particularly skilled in defending industrial disease claims involving HAVS, NIHL and lung diseases. His practice encompasses a wide range of historic liabilities with a particular focus on childhood abuse claims.
Calum is instructed in both pre-litigated and litigated abuse cases involving religious bodies, schools, care homes and sports organisations.
