Biography
Laura is a solicitor advocate with rights of audience in Scotland’s highest civil courts.
Laura predominantly handles claims for insurers and uninsured organisations, including claims under legacy policies with a focus on abuse claims. She also has considerable experience of tracing historic liability insurers.
She has acted on behalf of the Police in relation to issues of public protection under the Sexual Offences Act 2003 and Protection of Children and Prevention of Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act 2005.
Her caseload includes high-profile claims against schools, local authorities, religious institutions and sports teams.
