Suzanne qualified in 1993 and joined Keoghs in 2007 as a partner. She specialises in advising individuals, SME′s and large corporations who are being investigated and/or prosecuted by the HSE and other regulatory bodies. She has also acted for clients who have been the subject of corporate and individual manslaughter prosecutions.
Her most high profile case to date is R -v- Chargot in the House of Lords which involved complex issues around the interpretation and application of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. Suzanne has extensive experience of attending police interviews and representing clients in the Coroner′s and Magistrates′ Court. She is also a competent and skilled trainer in all aspects of regulatory prosecutions and workplace accidents. Chambers Guide 2015 ranked Suzanne as a specialist regulatory lawyer and one client commented “We found her thorough, confident and experienced“.
