Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS)
HAVS claims are complex and can prove expensive when a worker finds themselves out of work and unable to use vibratory tools.
Our disease team has extensive experience handling HAVS claims, developing a thorough understanding of all the key issues and the importance of ensuring robust denials. We have particular expertise in defeating claims on causation grounds whilst our successes to date also include the raising of date of knowledge arguments for certain industries who were originally unaware of the risks of exposure.
Our expertise in the HAVS field is demonstrable, not only by results, but by our leading strategy work to aid insurers with this occupational ill health claim.
