Corporate Risk Claims Defensibility Conference

12/11/2019

The Corporate Risks team held a very successful conference on 17 September in London, covering all areas of claims defensibility.

Partner and Head of Food and Drink, John McKie, gave an overview of trends and claims behaviour whilst Food and Drink Partner, Ivor Long, along with Associate Vickie Forsyth and guest speaker, Dr Slim Dinsdale, provided an update on food illness claims.

The event also provided delegates with an extremely useful panel debate on unrepresented claimants, chaired by Keoghs Casualty Claims Manager, Luci Horton, and including Keoghs Retail Partner Kari Hansen and guests Chris Bond from M&S and Karen Webber from New Look. Keoghs Partner and Director of Public and Market Affairs, Samantha Ramen discussed legal reforms on the horizon whilst Keoghs Associate Amanda Johnston and Jeff Wynne from The Building Repair Network rounded things off with a look at property damage recoveries.

Thanks to the speakers for creating a fantastic event, along with all our attendees who ensured there wasn’t a spare seat in the house.
