Keoghs announce 13 new Associate promotions

20/11/2018

New associates include eleven employees across the Bolton offices and two from Coventry.

The 13 new Associates are Abdul Khan, Abigail Lewis, Anna Smethurst, Charlene Curry, Daniel Spence, Eleanor Fox, Emma Simm, Katie King, Luke Ashton, Natalie Hart, Nathaniel Greatrex, Ryan Bird and Sarah-Jayne Rottier-Montgomery.

The Associate programme was created so that employees can take the next step in their career. The newly appointed Associate positions range from diverse roles including solicitors, team leaders and support managers, from divisions including motor fraud, credit hire, casualty and legacy.

Associate Sarah-Jayne was ready for the next challenge in her career and the programme came at an opportune moment for her to pursue. “With the full backing of Keoghs, I felt like this was the next step and I feel the status of Associate is the firm noting my contribution to help with its overall goal of becoming the market leader in our sector.”

Keoghs believes that people are its biggest asset and strives to build their own, and newly appointed Associate Eleanor Fox is a worthy example of that. Starting as an administrative assistant seven years ago, Eleanor worked her way up to paralegal and then completed her training contract to become a qualified solicitor. "I have worked in a great team at Keoghs and have been given opportunities to quickly progress, I am delighted to have been offered Associate status and to take on additional responsibilities which will take me a step further in my career at Keoghs.”

Eleanor isn’t the only employee to be recognised for outstanding contribution and level of service to Keoghs. Emma Simm, who works in the Disease team, has worked for the company for almost a decade and has witnessed the company grow from strength to strength. “Following a number of successful cases, hard work and completion of the Associate application process, I was pleased to be promoted to Associate and consider this to be an amazing achievement which I have no doubt will assist me in progressing my career at Keoghs in the future.”

As well as this, longstanding Intel Team Leader, Anna Smethurst, has made dreams turn into a reality as she set herself a goal of achieving associateship by her tenth year with the firm. Having spent nine years in the Intel team, she has watched Keoghs grow immensely and is “very proud of being a part of an award-winning team.”

Keoghs wishes all newly appointed Associates well and hopes for long, prosperous careers with us.
