Keoghs celebrated a major award win on Thursday night at the Bolton Business Awards 2018.
This achievement in winning ‘Best Company for Apprentice Development’ highlights our contribution to legal apprenticeships and our dedication to educating and developing young legal professionals.
The Bolton Business Awards took place at the University of Bolton Stadium, with around 500 guests attending and celebrating exceptional achievements of business across the North West.
This award acknowledges Keoghs’ success with its apprenticeship programme. Keoghs want to provide local talented school and college leavers with the opportunity to combine study and work together whilst still having the same prospects as those studying for a degree at university. Having recruited over 30 apprentices in the last few years, we have already seen 43% of those apprentices promoted within the first year of joining the firm.
Joanne Wright, Head of People says:
“We are delighted to win and that our apprenticeship initiative has been recognised. The program is designed to allow those with a desire and the potential to have a career within the legal profession to develop right through from paralegal to a qualified solicitor. Over 30 talented individuals have now been given a place on an apprenticeship with Keoghs in the last two years. We look forward to growing our apprenticeship programme and recruiting more ambitious young people.”
