Credit Hire Mock Trial

Many credit hire handlers and managers have never experienced a live trial, and whilst our latest event wasn’t entirely ‘real’ it was aimed at providing an insight into the trial process and how evidence (in particular rates evidence) can potentially change matters in a heartbeat.

Over 30 attendees spent the day watching the events of a trial unfold, while senior credit hire counsel Steven Turner and Corin Furness of Parklane Plowden Chambers delivered a powerful and entertaining performance.

Those that had prepped beforehand were well equipped to start questioning the trial bundle and the evidence put forward by the claimant during a number of breakout sessions. Many who turned up with a set mind with how the trial would end had to think again as the day unfolded.
