As a business, we value the differences and benefits that a diverse workforce brings. We are committed to creating and maintaining an environment that embraces diversity and inclusion and where everyone is treated equitably. To support this we have a dedicated Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee focussed on developing a culture where we recognise and support that everyone is unique.
We recognise that we need to celebrate the diversity of our colleagues and ensure that Keoghs is a great place to work for everyone. We have a series of action groups which bring people together from right across the business to focus on making a positive difference for our colleagues. This includes our working parents and carers; our LGBTQ+ colleagues and those people managing physical, non-visible or mental disabilities. We also have a recently formed action group focussed on supporting and celebrating the many different cultures and heritages within our business. We recognise that we need to celebrate the diversity of our Keoghs colleagues and ensure that Keoghs is a great place to work for everyone. We have four distinct action groups which bring people together from right across Keoghs to focus on making a positive difference for our working families including parents and carers; our BAME colleagues; our LGBTQ+ colleagues and for anyone at Keoghs managing physical, invisible or mental disabilities.
Through the work of our action groups we also look to increase awareness and understanding, change perceptions and discourage stereotypes.
We encourage all colleagues to get involved and reach out for support by joining our peer to peer network groups designed to provide a safe environment for our colleagues to offer support, guidance and advice to each other. Additionally, we regularly look to welcome new champions to join the groups and help us make a difference.
Keoghs remain highly committed to all aspects of equity, diversity and inclusion and we believe that sharing our ‘Gender Pay Gap Report’ is an integral step in having more meaningful conversations with our people about those areas. This year we have once again gone above the statutory requirements and have separately reported on our Partners and our full firm gender pay gap. In addition we have again taken the step to voluntarily report on ethnicity pay for our employee population.
