Keoghs shortlisted for leading thought leadership award

    27/02/2015

Keoghs are delighted to have been shortlisted for the Managing Partners’ Forum (MPF) Management Excellence Award for Thought Leadership.

Founded in 1995, the MPF is a global members' association, dedicated to enhancing leadership and the status of management teams through changing attitudes towards practice management.

The awards, now in their 13th year are held in association with the Harvard Business Review and The Financial Times, and involve formal assessment by independent experts across five priority areas: leadership; strategy; client experience; operational excellence and responsible business.

Keoghs’ award submission centred on the success of our thought leadership and external engagement programme developed throughout the Jackson/LASPO reforms, which resulted in the firm becoming a recognised and valued stakeholder by Government and the MoJ.

Keoghs’ Director of Market and Public Affairs, Steve Thomas commented “We have a deep understanding of the issues affecting our clients and actively support them in protecting and enhancing their position. We have engaged vigorously in the reforms process, through our Jackson Working Group and close involvement with the MoJ. Many of our proposals and concerns were discussed and enacted upon at all levels of Government. With our established track record of engagement with stakeholders on reform over the last five years, we have gained a clear line of sight on emerging reforms, how they will impact clients and what their consequences will be.”

Keoghs’ CEO, John Whittle said: “For a number of years Keoghs has taken thought leadership very seriously. In a sector that has undergone so much change at both operational and strategic level recently, particularly in terms of the Jackson reforms, we feel we have developed unrivalled specialist knowledge here. We provide thought leadership to help influence and shape the defendant insurance market, acting as a trusted advisor to our clients when they need to respond to often complex and sometimes contradictory market issues. We are delighted that our efforts here have been recognised by the Managing Partners’ Forum.
