Douglas has acted for insurers throughout his 28 year career and specialises in large loss and complex personal injury claims.
Douglas has been lead partner since setting up Keoghs’ Scottish office in 2017. He is instructed soon after accidents have occurred and works closely with clients to co-ordinate early investigations, often in very sensitive circumstances. He will coordinate the implementation of rehabilitation and will remain alert to any opportunity to secure the most economic resolution for his clients. Douglas will conduct the
litigation in its entirety remaining involved until final resolution. He has extensive Advocacy experience having appeared in Courts throughout Scotland. Douglas gained Law Society specialist accreditation in
personal injury law in 2008 and is described in Chambers and Partners as having ‘exceptional communication skills’.
