John qualified as a Solicitor over 30 years ago and has experience in Insurance litigation with a primary focus on motor, employer liability and public liability claims for major Insurers. He also acts for healthcare professionals in disciplinary and regulatory proceedings and has expertise in handling historic abuse claims.
John was President of the Law Society of Northern Ireland in 2015/2016 and remains an elected Council member. He also represents the Society on the Council of the International Bar Association.
