Helen became a partner in 2011 and handles a large proportion of high value motor claims involving traumatic brain injuries, amputations, fatalities, spinal and significant orthopaedic injuries affecting adult and child claimants including protected parties.
Having qualified as a solicitor in 2001, Helen joined Keoghs in 2002, defending personal injury claims. She quickly progressed to handling higher value cases and dealt with a varied spectrum of work including motor, employment, household, sports, animal and consumer cases. Helen was promoted to Associate in 2004 before moving into the Complex Injury Claims team in 2006 where she assisted the head of Complex Injury Claims, Andrew Underwood, dealing with catastrophic motor, household and animal claims. From 2009 Helen has handled complex, high value claims in her own right and now much of her caseload is made up of matters in excess of £1m in value.
