Emily qualified in 2015 as a solicitor but has had experience dealing with personal injury claims and civil litigation since 2010. She initially worked as a paralegal as part of a high volume litigation team and dealt with her own caseload of around 80 files. During her training contract, in addition to her work within the volume team, Emily was also seconded to the ABI for three months. Whilst there she worked on various projects including the committee working towards the implementation of a system to provide a random selection of medical experts in minor road traffic accident cases. The majority of Emily’s experience includes defending and assisting with personal injury claims involving a variety of different accidents including EL/PL/RTA, fatal and catastrophic injury claims. Emily has a particular interest in claims involving the Animals Act, Fundamental Dishonesty and DAI cases. Emily deals with her own cases and has assisted partners for the past four years and was promoted to partner in 2021.
