Garrett joined Keoghs Ireland LLP in April 2026 to lead our Professional Indemnity work in Ireland. He has specialised in defending construction legal and financial professionals in Ireland since 2008. He was described in the Legal 500 (2019) as “particularly adept at defending professional indemnity claims, especially in the construction space”. He previously worked for Beale & Co and was a partner in BLM and Clyde and Co Ireland Llp.
Garrett is regularly retained to advise on complex coverage issues. He has advised in relation to professional Indemnity, Excess of Loss, Financial Loss and Civil Liability, Corporate Crime, Directors and Officers Insurance, the solicitors minimum terms and conditions, Employment Practice Liability, Employers Liability, Product Liability, Medmal, Charities and Structural Guarantee (e.g. the Premier Guarantee) policies.
