With a career built in insurance law and civil liability, Lucia has developed extensive experience in the management of complex judicial and extrajudicial claims, with a particular focus on medical malpractice and professional liability. Her experience includes advising insurance companies, public and private healthcare organisations, institutions and professionals.
Throughout her career, she has handled complex and high-value claims, covering the assessment of liability and damages, financial exposure and reserves, as well as the development of defence, settlement and claims resolution strategies. She has extensive experience coordinating with legal panel firms, technical and medical experts, and healthcare organisations.
Since 2022, alongside her legal practice, Lucia has provided consultancy and claims management services to a leading insurance company in the medical malpractice sector, supporting the assessment and management of complex claims and participating in Claims Evaluation Committees. She has also worked with law firms acting for Italian and international insurance companies, including Lloyd’s market operators, gaining a strong understanding of the operational and strategic requirements of the insurance market.
