Rachel has extensive experience in personal injury claims with a particular focus on large loss and catastrophic case. Her practice covers motor and casualty claims including accidents abroad. Within motor claims, she deals with complex issues including indemnity and also uninsured drivers.
Rachel’s caseload involves handling a variety of injuries such as serious spinal injuries, brain injuries, and amputations. As part of her work, Rachel is often instructed pre-litigation to work alongside insurers and assist with their initial investigations. This includes providing advice on indemnity, liability, and quantum. She has built up a strong reputation with numerous major insurers with over a decade of experience as an expert in high value cases. Rachel is a member of the Forum of Insurance Lawyers (FOIL), chairing the large and complex loss sector focus team in Scotland.
