James is the Group Chief Risk Officer for Davies Group. With a remit including risk, compliance and regulation on a global basis, he works closely with Keoghs.
As a consultant to Keoghs, James manages the Keoghs Risk & Compliance team, acting as the Keoghs Compliance Officer for Legal Practice (“COLP”), for Keoghs LLP, and supporting the risk & compliance functions in our wider jurisdictions - working with our people, suppliers and clients to ensure that we employ leading risk management practices across our regulated legal services businesses
Having initially trained as a solicitor, James worked in legal practice with Keoghs since 1995 specialising in the delivery of counter-fraud and intelligence services to compensators. He assisted in establishing Keoghs' counter-fraud services division in 1998 and has been instrumental in the development and growth of the counter fraud business, becoming the first supplier recipient of the Industry Achievement Award at the 2018 Insurance Fraud Awards.
