Laura is a partner in our market-leading abuse team. Her practice focusses exclusively on the defence of abuse claims on behalf of insurers, sporting clubs, religious organisations, schools, charities and other public and private authorities.
Laura has been involved in many high-profile cases, including those relating to abuse in football. She has extensive experience of combining technical and strategic legal advice with a client-focused understanding of practical and reputational issues.
Laura often instructed directly by uninsured organisations where historical liability insurance cannot be traced. In addition, she advises on safeguarding issues and procedure.
Laura is a solicitor advocate with rights of audience in Scotland’s highest civil courts.
