Rachel has over 13 years’ experience defending claims on behalf of insurance companies in Northern Ireland. Her expertise includes advising clients in the handling of complex personal injury claims across a range of sectors including motor, employer’s and public liability, large and complex loss and policy indemnity disputes. She manages a diverse case load consisting of higher value personal injury claims for top ten UK insurers.
She regularly provides advice on appropriate case tactics and strategies and works closely with clients in order to drive these cases to an efficient conclusion whilst engaging appropriate experts. She holds a certificate in Advanced Advocacy, and regularly appears at court for reviews and applications and leads case negotiations with opposing legal representatives. She has been a guest speaker at the Institute of Professional Legal Studies and is a former NI Representative for FOIL NI.
