Credit hire round table success

19/07/2017

Keoghs’ credit hire team held a round table for clients in March, taking over our chosen venue’s top floor room with fantastic views over the River Thames.  Bringing together many of the UK’s top insurers, the afternoon proved to be a successful one as

Melanie Mooney and guest Steven Turner, from Parklane Plowden chambers, kicked off discussions with a presentation on the McBride v UKI case.

We then had an interesting presentation from Mark Sanderson on the growing issue of credit hire claims in the MoJ Portal.

John Gibson then showed some of Keoghs’ key credit hire data analysis for the last 12 months, providing a summary of some of the most significant trends that have become apparent.  The presentations finished off with an overview on credit hire fraud issues from Fraser McAndry.

The networking drinks that followed proved popular, and feedback from the event has been overwhelmingly positive, with comments including:

“As an insurer dealing with credit hire I look for technical excellence, knowledge and innovation.  The day provided all three elements around some key issues.”

“This was the first time I have attended this particular event, having regularly attended similar event hosted by other providers, and was impressed with its format and the knowledge level at which it was aimed.”

“Presentations packed a punch in terms of content without being too long.  Couldn’t fault it.”
